Independent Entrepreneur in the Building Sector 2007 – Present
In 2007 I fulfilled my passion to design and build a house. More than 10 years and several projects later I am still on that path, now planning and executing renovations for others. My strength is still understanding target groups (house owners), finding new solutions and spaces for them.

The key factor for success again, has been vision, enthusiasm and creativity, but of course the same principal as in marketing… knowing your target group!

Entrepreneur at Nykopp Ltd 1995 – Present
Nykopp Ltd was founded in 1995. After 10 years working in the Finnish export industry my dream come true was to become an entrepreneur and organize an Auto Expo in Finland. Helsinki Motor Show was one of the biggest fairs in Finland gathering over 50.000 visitors during 3 exhibition days. In 2007 we sold the expo to the Finnish Fair Company.

Helsinki Motor Show was followed by Toys4Boys fair (the only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys), and ongoing marketing and sponsoring projects.

“Consultant” for Red Bull 1999
I never officially worked for Red Bull, but I proudly have to mention that the Red Bull story in Finland came to life in my office! I helped Red Bull find its first country manager in Finland and rent office space. My Red Bull contacts were established during my project in Formula One and I was a logical contact in Finland.
I was an alternative country manager for this great brand but my entrepreneurial career had just “gotten wings”.

Promotions Manager Formula One at Primalco Oy, (today Finlandia Vodka Worldwide Oy). 
Mission was to create a 3 year global sponsoring concept for Finlandia Vodka with Formula One and Alpine World Cup Series. Main business partner was Mclaren F1 Team. Marketing planning and global promotions in co-op with Mclaren partners (brands) during GP weekends. Finlandia Vodka marketing communication: new bottle, new distribution, new image. F1 platform to promote new Finlandia Vodka message (B2B). Promoting new Finlandia Vodka image and life style (B2C).

Global Marketing Communications Manager at Kyro Board Mill, (today MetsäBoard) 1994 – 1995
A continuation from previous work to focus on  Kyro Board mill. Planning and implementation of global marketing strategies. Brand building. Promotion and sales tools for graphics and packaging sales teams. Global project management. Marketing target group: Global sales team, Customers: printers and brand owners.

Global Business Area Manager at Finnboard Helsinki, (today MetsäBoard) 1990 – 1994
Planning and implementation of global marketing strategies. My business area was the Graphics printing sector with 5 Finnboard member mills. Brand building and strategies. Promotion and sales tools. Project management. Marketing target group: Global sales team, Customers: printers and brand owners.

Sales representative, out door sales at Finnboard, Finnkarton Deutschland, today (MetsaBoard Deutschland GmbH) 1986 – 1990
Out door marketing and sales of Finnish carton board to the German printing sector specialized in pharmaceutical packaging (B2C). End user promotion activities towards the German pharmaceutical industry (B2B).

Back office sales and tasks.
